We had a focus group with a major company and we met one of the big guys in the company. The guy who accompanied me was totally unprepared and unprofessional. He did not introduce himself, he did not know anything about the company, he did not explain the concept that we wanted to sell nor did he facilitate the conversation!!
I initiated the contact with this company and I was really embarrassed ... He not only embarrassed me but also embarrassed the company that we represented!
Coming back to the office I told one of my co-workers who usually accompanies us to focus groups but couldn't make it this time and he told me that he and other have talked about his behavior in previous focus groups (which I did not notice because they were doing such a good job). I documented everything that happened so the others on the team could raise a complaint against him and he is not accompanying us to anymore focus groups. That made me feel a lot better.
On another not am currently preparing as Auditors from Lloyd are coming for a surveillance visit and I may be audited on the spot.
